When we last left Genie... "The lamp!" yelled Feyd, Chelsea, and Karl. "What's so important about a lamp?" Said Gen. Lunaris as she turned to face the three. "Without the lamp, Feyd can't be my genie!" Chelsea cried while slumping down into the dirty alley floor. Gen. Lunaris then turned to Feyd. "...Your genie?" Feyd looked at the children and then at Lunaris."...Its a long story.g " Genie!! Chapter 3: Shake that moneymaker. By Montae Mckinney In a hidden chamber, a sudden flash of light appeared. After the lightdispated, Wyne slumped to the ground. He walked to a table and placed the lamp on it. The last few minutes replayed itself in his head. He couldn't figure out why, instead of a djinn, two strangers appeared and they were powerful enough to stop one of his fireballs with some sort of barrier. "You really messed up this time. They will be coming here for that lamp you know" Said the voice in his head. "Shut up! I already know that, that's why I got figured out some way to stop whoever or whatever came out of this lamp." Wyne ran to a bookcase and started to read the books like a man on a mission. The truth of the matter is that Wyne was a scared and desperate man. If they found him, he might not live to see the next sunrise. "Well there is one way you can escape certain death and have a powerful weapon in the process." Said the voice. "How?! You seen them yourself, they were not djinn! How can I possibly be able to stop them!?" Wyne said in a panic. "Let me ask you a few questions. When did they appear?" Wyne thought for a monment "When I rubbed the lamp." "So that means that they are bounded to the lamp, right?" "Yes! Get to the point already!" The voice chuckled "This is so simple, no wonder you didn't think of this. All you need to do is cast a spell on the lamp to make them obey. They might not be djinn but they could be the next best thing." Wyne stopped for a movement. That is so simple. He can cast a spell on the lamp so that whoever was bonded to it will have no choice but to obey him. But, there was one problem. "I can't cast the spell now, its almost morning. The spell must be cast when the moon is at it's highest point." "Then, you better make sure that they don't find you until then." "Your right, I'm make sure the guards are on alert today. Soon, I will become the most powerful mage of all time!" And lo, did Wyne laugh. _*_ "...and that leaves me here." said Feyd, finishing up his tale to Lunaris. "Every time someone's rubs the lamp, I get transported to where the lamp is." Lunaris and Feyd were talking inside an abandoned house on the outskirts of town. They decided that it was too dangerous to be anywhere near the palace so Karl took everybody here. While Karl was outside, watching out for anything unusual, Chelsea was sleeping in another room. After they got here, Feyd started to tell Lunaris about the children and his 'disappearances.' Lunaris was glad that Feyd was safe, for more than being her superior. Ever since she seen him leading his troops into victory at Vega 5, she had fallen in love with him. From his hair, body and mind she seen him as the perfect man. Only problem was that Feyd was a man of duty and her senior officer. Feyd, on the other hand, thinks of Gen. Lunaris as one of the best officers that he has ever known. She was smart, could beat anyone in her way, and she was loyal. It's also helps that she doesn't question orders. It was almost like she like to follow 'his orders.' "So that's why you keep on dissaparing." said Lunaris "The whole fort was looking for you. Your father was very worried that you was being captured." "Well, when we get back, and find out why the hell I keep coming back after someone rubs the lamp, I'll explain everything." "So, what's the plan now?" "Right now, we should get some rest, in the morning we will get the lamp." "Yes, Commander." _*_ In the other room, Chelsea was trying to sleeping. Normally, she would be dreaming a nice dream. Sometimes she would dream of meeting a prince and marrying him in a grand cemonary. Other times she would dream of having a real family. Laughing with brothers and sisters and loving her mother and father. Or she could been having the dream like she did last night with her genie granting her every wish. But right now, she couldn't sleep. "What if we can't get the lamp back." she said between sobs, "I really like Feyd... even if sometimes he loses his temper. If that mean old mage does something to Feyd, I don't know what I'll do." "Hey, what's the matter Chelsea?" Karl said as he jumped thought the window "Was Feyd being mean to you again. Genie or no genie, he needs to learn some maners" "No, I was just thinking about if we don't get the lamp back." "Well, don't worry about that. I can break in the palace and get the lamp back," then Karl did a victory pose "no problem!" "Yeah, Karl! Your the greatest friend a person could ever have! Wai!" cheered Chelsea. "...yea...greatest...friend...wai" _*_ The mountain roc,(To be named later), was sleeping peacefully in his nest. He had a good day yesterday, targeting that mage sure makes the day complete. Now it was sleepy time, and the next day will be full of 'presents' from 'The Roc'. Little did he know that someone was gonna get something from his 'candy ass'. Wyne slowly crept up to the mountain roc's lair, slowly creeping on his knees. He really didn't like roc too much. These foul creatures are the vain of the desert. When he becomes the ruler of all the deserts, the first thing he will do is to get rid of these pesky birds. But for now, the bird is actually useful for one thing. "Remember," said the voice, "You have to be very very quiet. The roc can hear very well but it's asleep. Now be careful." "Will you just SHUT UP!?" screamed Wyne. He then covered his mouth because he realize that he said that out loud and the roc could had heard that. The roc was having a very good dream. The dream started off by dive-bombing a few of the locals. Then, he was cruising through the mountains, gliding like the true master of the air that the master that he is. All of a sudden, he heard someone say "SHUT UP!?". Looking around and not seeing anything he decided that nothing happened and contuied with his happy dream. "Well, you luck out this time. Just hurry up and get the tail feathers already. You are going to need your sleep if you are going to cast a spell right... for a change." "...You're just lucky that I can't hit you with a fire ball." "Who's stopping you?" "..." Wyne slowly moved to the roc, heart beating so hard that it could have awaken the dead. The roc's tail feathers was the final ingredient that he needed for the spell to control 'whoever' was bonded to the lamp. He finally reached the roc, who if it was human, looked like that he was having a very good dream. 'This will be like taking bread away from a child' he chuckled as he reached for a healthy looking feather. The roc dream counted as he dreamt that he nailed another house, owned by a particular person that was cheap with the scraps. Swacking in laughter, he then flew back to his nest where two female rocs was waiting for him. 'Now this is living' he thought to himself as he flew down to them. As he was landing however, he felt something for an instant. Thinking that it was nothing he resume his dream, but we will not go into that, this is not Nature. "Well, what do you know. You actually done it. Now, lets get back so we can at least get back to sleep ok?" said the voice in an sleepy tone. "Yes, I finally gonna get my due!" said Wyne in a wisper. "I finally will have my dreams come true! HAHAHAHA...Opps!" The roc dream was contuning until it heard some wierd sound. With it's peace ruin, he woke up. What he saw was a old mage that look fimular. It realize that he had been a targert before and ... wait a minute... what does he have in his hand? The roc stared at the item in the mage's hand and it look like a mountain roc's feather. He had a bad feeling about that and looked behind and he didn't like what he saw. Where was once a proud tail-feather was a bald spot. He was proud of that feather, it's was the first thing that the females look at. Now he'll be lucky if a *shiver* vulture would give him the time of day. As the roc started to get angry, a battle aura started to form around him. He was piss and that human was gonna pay. No one, and he means no one does this to him. It took him years to grow and groom that feather. That human will pay for this. "Now you done it, wiseguy." said the voice mocking the mage while the roc was walking towards them. "I think we should get out of here before we become roc chow. "I... I think you right." said Wyne between shakes. "I guess we should be offnow..." "CAST THE SPELL ALREADY!!!" "NorthupleftrightdownsouthTeleport!" said Wyne breaking a personal spell-casting record. The roc was about to strike when the mage teleported. Now he was mad and when a roc gets mad, it's gets even. And lo, did the roc squak. _*_ Morning has come to the land of Uherty. While the merchants were busy getting read for their morning customers, two men was watching the palace gates from a nearby. One was wear clothing that would make you think he was dirt poor while the other look like he was in some form of armour and that he came from some distant land. "Damn, this place is built better than most forts that I seiged in my time" said Feyd as he was looking into some high-tech goggles. "This should have been a cakewalk. Karl, on the other hand, was using his regular sight. "Yeah, your right. Looks like I just have to go in solo." "You couldn't steal garbage from a can, twerp!" "Well, what kind of genie are you to have your master's lamp stolen from her right under your nose?" "I didn't see you there until I had the situation under control. Oh, by the way," Feyd then grab Karl and pulled him towars himself "I AM NOT A GENIE!!!" "If you not a genie, why are you tring so hard to get the lamp back?" "...None of your business." Feyd snarled. "Well, we still need to get in there. But I got a plan." "What is it?" "I tell you when everybody is together" and with that Karl jumped off the roof, bounce on some canopys and made a dash for the hideout. "I wonder what he has planed..." _*_ "NO!" screamed Feyd "You want to get the lamp right?" said Karl, tring to hold in the laughter. "I want the lamp but lamp but not like this!" "Sir, permission to speak?" ask Lunaris. Feyd turned around to face Lunaris. "Granted." "Sir, I looked at all the options that were vitable and this plan has the best chance to suceed." "I don't care! How come you and Chelsea can't go in while I stay outside as backup?" "But Feyd, you gotta come!" cried Chelsea "Who is gonna protect me if those guards decided to do anthing to us!" "What about Karl, I'm sure he would love to protect you!" "Sorry Feyd." chuckled Karl "I know my way in there, besides they seen my face allready and I really don't have the body for it." Feyd looked around and seen three faces that were final in their resolve. He really didn't want to do this. He is a solder, not a crossdresser! Chelsea handed Feyd the garment he was to wear, "Come on Feyd, this will be fun! It's like we are playing 'dress-up'! Feyd was still looking at the garment of a belly dancer and could only say one thing "Why me god!" The End. Well, I could say that this suck or such, but I won't. This was just my first impro and first fanfic ever. I would like to thank the people at #improfanfic and special thanks to Ardweden, ravi, Damion Roc, and Lawrence Chu for listening to me at my time of need. Now I can sleep until some other time. ^_^
